weCANfoil has established a number of regional foiling hubs across Canada. These are locations where, in partnership with local clubs, we have seeded Waszps and wing foils, provided curriculum and program support, and maintain periodic coaching reviews. The clubs run the programs themselves, but our support of boats and teaching materials make a powerful combination.
Halifax
Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron
This club has had a foiling program since 2018, when Ag Ferrario and Lee Gifford-Sims established it as a sideline to their traditional race program. They sail Waspzs, Nacra 17s, A-cats, and wing foils.
Kingston
Kingston Yacht Club
Based in one of the top freshwater sailing locations in the world, Kingston Yacht Club has had their own foiling program for several years, and has also hosted the successful FoilKingston event which has now been brought into the CORK series of regattas.
